LGBT Mental Health Group
York LGBT Forum in partnership with York Mind, St Nicks, Sunshine Changing Lives, Kindlewoods, Converge, York Carers Centre, and the City of York Council have an exciting, new, opportunity to deliver a bespoke range of activities to support individuals’ mental health and wellbeing.
Activities will run across the year, with staggered start dates and include guided learning such as Mindfulness, vocational courses, facilitated peer support, green exercise, woodland well-being sessions, social events and support groups.
An important part of the programme is that participants will be able to select those activities that they feel will support them most based on their own interests, needs and goals.
The Activities Programme is funded by City of York Council for three years and reflects its commitment and investment in mental health provision and the early intervention and prevention agenda.
York LGBT Forum will be delivering a weekly mental health support group for the members of the LGBT community starting in September 2017
York Mind will provide the single point of access for participants to enrol on individual activities. For further information or to enrol please contact York Mind on 01904 643364 or email email@example.com
