Kenyan Projects

We are launching several exciting projects in partnership with our friends in Kenya. One project is to provide temporary, safe housing for East African LGBT refugees. Another is to support LBT women in Mombasa who have experienced violence and discrimination. They are making reusable sanitary products for Kenyan schoolgirls, who presently miss up to a week off school each month because of menstruation. This provides the women with employment, support and a sense of community which they would not otherwise have access to.

Our bracelets are made exclusively by women from our Kenyan projects – the £12 ones are made by refugees in camps, and the £6 ones are made by the ‘Rainbow Women’ from Mombasa. Each bracelet is unique, so please be aware that the one/s you are sent may vary slightly. We have very limited stocks of each bracelet as we are waiting for more to be made right now!

These bracelets are only available in small wrist sizes and have a leather and 2 snap fasteners at the back.
